How would one add a newline or word wrap to an axis title on a bar graph?

    Hello,

I’m having a bit of trouble with the bar graph chart control. I’m required to add a Y axis title with 2 lines (“Gallons per month” & “(per 1,000)”) to two graphs. Entered together as one line, the text shrinks rather than adding a line break which makes it unreadable. Adding a VbCrLf newline via the text property (in code) causes one of the graphs not to display. The other is uncentered but I haven’t looked for an alignment property yet.

I’d greatly appreciate any help that could be provided in getting this to display properly.

I’m using version 11 in case it makes any difference.

    Hello,

We could not reproduce the issue at our end using the latest build version of ActiveReports11 “11.1.9726.0″. Entering “vbCrLf” broke the text shifting it to the next line, just as desired. Please refer to attached screen-shots before and after using “vbCrLf” in Text property of Axis.
I have also attached a sample application consisting of Section Reports’ 2D Bar chart, for you to refer.
Also, please make sure you are using the latest Service Pack of ActiveReports11 “11.1.9726.0″, if not then you may download the same from here: cdn.grapecity.com/ActiveReports/ar11/ActiveReports-v11.1.9726.0.msi

Thanks. This helped a lot. Would you happen to know if there is a way to center the title text? At the moment it seems to left align (towards the bottom).

    Hello,

We are sorry to say but as of now there are no such ways to align Axis Title, hence we have sent a Feature Request to the concerned team for the same and it would be added in future builds, if they find it feasible.

    Best Regards,
